Chief Justice of
Pakistan acknowledges PKI’s struggle against the menace of illegal organ
trade and appreciates PKI’s role in initiating the Cadaveric Transplant
Program in Pakistan : “I would like to thank Dr. Saeed Akhter, Chairman
PKI for giving me this honour to express my gratitude to the parents of
late Syed Imran Shah; the first ever legal kidney donor in Pakistan
after passing of the Ordinance.
May Allah rest his soul in peace and may his example be replicated by
all. As the Quran says “Saving one life means saving entire
humanity”, we must unite to share everything we have for the
common good of all. |
