PKI teams headed by Dr
Athar, Dr Rashid and Dr Ijaz Hussain are currently touring the above
stated areas, for initial assessment and on-ground need-analysis.
According to the initial reports submitted by them, these people have
lost not only their homes but also their agricultural lands and cattle,
thereby necessitating long-term rehabilitation in addition to initial
relief aid.
The most pressing needs that are emerging are for food and medical
supplies, shelter, mosquito nets and mosquito repellant for the cattle. |
